Day 3
MANKIND is the men’s fellowship of Champions Church. It is a brotherhood.
As men, we carry a unique responsibility. We are called to lead in our homes, in our church, and in our lives. To lead well, lead right, and to encourage, inspire, and support those around us according to God’s plan.
At times, that responsibility can feel heavy. But that’s exactly where brotherhood steps in. That’s where MANKIND steps in. We are not alone!
“Don’t be afraid… Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
— 2 Kings 6:16
This will be my fifth MANKIND experience since joining Champions Church and each one has been better than the last one in terms of the spiritual journey, bonding with brothers and having that alone time with God away from the daily life.
Every time, I come back rejuvenated, reconnected, and refreshed after the powerful praise, deep worship, strong word, real conversations, great fun… and yes, great food too.
This year promises to be the best yet, not just because of the progressive expectation that keeps getting better, but because I have the privilege of captaining the Chariots of Fire team.
*Chariots of Fire*: What does that mean?
In 2 Kings 6, the prophet Elisha was surrounded by an enemy army sent by the King of Aram in the early hours of the morning to capture him. His servant was afraid and overwhelmed by what he could see.
But Elisha saw something different.
He said, “Don’t be afraid… those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
Then he prayed that his servant’s eyes would be opened and suddenly, he could see the hills were filled with horses and chariots of fire.
What looked like defeat was actually divine protection.
This is the reality for us today.
In the middle of fear, pressure, anxiety, and uncertainty, God is present. We are surrounded by Him, even when we don’t realise it.
The issue isn’t whether God is there, it’s whether we can see.
When our eyes are opened, we realise:
We are not outnumbered.
We are not alone.
We are not without help.
The power of Heaven and the host of angels stands with us.
MANKIND 2026 is more than just an event. It's an opportunity.
It’s 48 hours set apart to encounter God, build brotherhood, and return stronger, clearer, and on fire again.
God is ready to meet with us.
The question is… will you be there?
See you at Lenchwood!
