Day Eight
Acts 10:1-4 At Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion in what was known as the Italian Regiment. He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly. One day at about three in the afternoon he had a vision. He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said, ‘Cornelius!’ Cornelius stared at him in fear. ‘What is it, Lord?’ he asked. The angel answered, ‘Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God.’
Cornelius was hungry for God to touch his life.
He was a well respected man in authority, but knew where his authority ended and where God's began.
He modelled for us his daily belief, that when we come to the end of ourselves we come to the beginning of God.
Notice that his prayers 'stacked up' in heaven before they received God’s attention and intervention.
Your persistent daily prayer reaches a tipping point in Heaven, and then when it does, get ready...God is about to move on your behalf.
If you stop praying for something after a short while, it shows the level of its importance to you and to God.
The things that really matter should become an ongoing daily prayer, accompanied by times of fasting. It's those 'important' prayers that get Heaven’s attention.
Be encouraged to keep praying. Be encouraged to make your prayers both specific and bold. Be encouraged to make it your daily appointment with God.

Remember, nothing leaves Heaven until something leaves Earth.
